RED THREAD

Red reeds are made from a selection of high quality professional cane. Maintaining a full rich sound these reeds are free-blowing in the low register and responsive in the higher octave.

 

All IonaReeds are made with professional grade materials across the range so this reed is suitable for oboists who prefer a middling level of resistance in their reeds.

All  reeds are wired. The standard length of this reed is 71mm length (this can be adjusted upon request)

If you have a specific requirement - e.g. you would like a thin tip - please inform me when you are placing your order. Please Note: The length of the scrape cannot be substantially altered.

Please allow at least 2 weeks for reeds to be dispatched as all reeds are made to order.
